City cycling: PLEUGER can cover even more mileage

The entire city benefits from cycling: improved air quality, reduced car usage, and less congestion. From June 13 to July 3, 2025, Team PLEUGER will once again bring together cycling, climate protection, community, and competition to participate in the urban cycling competition. Cities, municipalities, and companies compete against each other to cover the most kilometers by bike.

The campaign is aimed not only at commuters but also at recreational cyclists who leave their cars at home for their trips. It has been proven time and again that cycling together is not only fun and good for your health but also good for the environment and the climate. Because fewer cars mean more bikes, which also reduces traffic on our roads. In 2024, the 21 participants of Team PLEUGER covered a total of 4,548 kilometers in three weeks, while the teams from the city of Hamburg covered a total of 3,037,915 kilometers.
